“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. ~ Luke 1:38

Fix our gaze on Jesus
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD.
May our problems make us closer to Jesus. Let us keep our gaze upon HIM. Amen
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" ~ Matthew 6:25-27

Then I walked some more..
I'm back and with loads of stories to tell.. Specially my recent escapade!
Had my first ever travel escapade.. Wandering in Tagaytay! I wanted to stay there for a day or so.. :)
After my retreat last 14th of May, my dear friend Patty sent me off at Pink Sisters. Stayed for more than 3 hours and PRAYED! So nice!
Then went off to wander the streets to look for a place to stay. The weather was just right, cool and not sunny. A lot of foodies on the sides. Try the small pie (I always think it's called shepherd's pie. I don't know why.. hahaha)
I ask around for a place to stay. First, I felt so sad about the place. Seems like a CR turned bedroom.. Second place, fully booked!. Third, was not an appropriate place. Fourth place was a modern hotel :( . Then I walked some more..
I looked up in the sky and told God, "Lord, you won't drop this rain on me right?!" Then dreezle started so I took cover. Then walked again some more.. And then rain fell hard. I was on the side of the highway. I stopped, trying to pull my umbrella. Then walked some more.. I run for cover in a depot warehouse. Good people invited me in for shelter. Felt sad while I stared in the rain and I decided to go home. The bus to manila was just across the street. The rain was really hard. Then it stopped.
I walked some more.. Rode a jeepney with no where to go. Decided to took off at starbucks, still looking around. Then saw, "Nurture Spa". I smiled and made arrangements. I took the last available room.. And viola! I had my own ifugao house and lot... The place was so ralaxing and the nature so grand!
Prior to these experience were fears, sadness, doubt. Then I just proceeded. I will never know what is there to surprise me if I didn't moved along. Thank you Lord for this another relaxing and inspiring time of my life..

"Had a wonderful lunch date with you Pat.First time I ate at Bag of Beans. They sell no fry chicharon (for lesser guilt I think..) Good place! I deeply prayed for what you yearn in your heart. Keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. Hope you still remember this reflection I shared with you during our silent time in Caleruega".[For you Pat: In case you came across this blog]
